On-Site Help for Scam Pop-Ups, Malware, Spyware, Browser Hijacks & Unusable Computers
If your computer is covered in pop-ups, warning messages, fake Microsoft alerts, or suspicious screens that keep coming back after a restart, Mr. Computer can help. We check for viruses, spyware, malware, browser changes, unwanted programs, suspicious remote-access tools, missing updates, and other issues that may be making your computer unsafe or unusable.
Do Not Call the Phone Number on the Pop-Up
One of the most common problems we see is a fake security warning that claims your computer is infected and tells you to call a support number. These pop-ups may look official, make loud noises, lock your browser, or pretend to be from Microsoft, Windows, Apple, Norton, McAfee, or another trusted company.
In most cases, those phone numbers connect to scammers. Their goal is to convince you to let them remote into your computer. Once they get access, they may install more serious spyware, steal passwords, access personal information, or attempt to drain bank accounts.
