If the account is active and recoverable, we can usually get it working in Outlook.
Microsoft 365 Setup, Activation, OneDrive and Teams
If you already have a Microsoft 365 subscription, we can install and activate it on your computer. If you do not have a subscription, you do not need to go to the store or order anything in advance. We can help you activate a subscription online through Microsoft and then install the apps.
We can also help with OneDrive setup, OneDrive sync problems, Teams installation, Microsoft account issues, cloud storage organization and moving Microsoft 365 from one computer to another.
Install Apps
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Microsoft 365 apps.
Activate Subscription
Use your existing subscription or activate a new one online through Microsoft.
OneDrive Sync
Set up cloud storage and synchronize files between devices.
Teams Help
Install Teams and troubleshoot common setup or access problems.
Business Email Setup Can Take More Than One Visit
We can help set up new business email or domain email for customers. These projects often require coordination between the domain host, email host and Microsoft 365 or Exchange setup.
Because DNS records and provider changes can take time, business email setup may require two or three service calls. We may need to configure the email service first, wait for the provider or host to process changes, and then return to add the email accounts to the Outlook desktop app profile.
Domain Email Setup
Help connecting business email to your domain and email provider.
DNS and Mail Records
Review and configure required records when the host and provider allow access.
Outlook Profiles
After email is active, we can add business accounts to Outlook on each computer.
Email Scams Are Common — Even With Spam Filters
Spam filters and junk email blockers help, but they will not stop every scam. Customers still need to recognize suspicious messages, fake invoices, phishing links, password reset scams, fake delivery messages and emails pretending to be from banks, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon or other trusted companies.
We can review suspicious email activity, help change passwords, check account recovery options, look for suspicious forwarding rules, and help secure the account when recovery access is available.
Fake Invoices
Scammers send fake bills or receipts to trick customers into calling or clicking.
Password Reset Scams
Emails may pretend an account needs urgent password verification.
Delivery Scams
Fake package delivery emails ask for payment, login details or personal information.
Suspicious Forwarding
Compromised accounts may have forwarding rules or changes the customer did not create.
What We Can Help With — and What Depends on the Email Provider
We can fix many Outlook and email setup problems, but some account recovery issues depend entirely on Microsoft, Google, Apple, Yahoo, AOL or the email provider that controls the account.
If an account is locked and the recovery phone number or recovery email is no longer available, recovery may be impossible or extremely unlikely. We cannot force a provider to restore an account, and we cannot access an account that is not recoverable through the provider’s approved process.
Deleted Emails
We cannot recover emails that have been permanently deleted and are no longer available from the provider.
Provider Outages
If Microsoft, Google, Apple, Yahoo or another provider is down, we cannot fix their outage.
Locked Accounts
We cannot force a provider to restore a locked account if recovery cannot be verified.
Recovery Options Matter
If the recovery phone or email is no longer yours, account recovery may not be possible.
